Imanami is a small, fast growing software company based in the Livermore. We provide secure Identity and Group Management software to better manage Exchange and Active Directory. Imanami is a Microsoft Gold Partner and is fortunate enough to have a large and satisfied customer base including organizations as AT&T, Microsoft, Ericsson and the Department of Homeland Security.
Imanami is in the growth mode and is currently looking for a Professional Services Engineer/Developer to add to our development and consulting services team. |
Roles and Responsibilities |
The main responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
• Participates in coding, testing, debugging, configuring, supporting and documenting software.
• Diagnoses and resolves software defects and problems.
• Works with Customer Support to prevent and troubleshoot client issues relating to the software application.
• Considers impact on the customer when setting goals, taking action or when carrying out job responsibilities.
• Clearly and actively communicates status of work and projects to stakeholders as needed - i.e. Support, Sales, and/or Imanami management.
• Works with senior developers to successfully anticipate, identify and resolve issues/concerns both internally and externally.
• Professionally and proactively handles problems and/or conflict to resolution. Uses sound judgment regarding escalation of issues to client or company management.
• Meets time requirements for all assignments, with minimal reminders. Prioritizes work effectively and actively works to find more efficient ways to accomplish assignments and tasks.
• Executes project assignments and work output with precision and quality. Uses company methodology and quality assurance standards where they exist.
• Works effectively and professionally with client and company staff, maintaining positive working relationships and effective teamwork.
• Takes initiative within job scope and anticipate the needs of customers and colleagues. Seeks and/or willingly accepts additional responsibilities and assignments.
• Develop and execute a challenging and interesting self-education and professional development plan.
• Perform other duties as assigned. |
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in developing and maintaining applications using Visual Basic .NET and C# programming languages.
• In-depth knowledge of Exchange 2003/2007 and Active Directory architecture with experience implementing and troubleshooting.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate with team members
• Ability to work independently
• Bachelors or technical degree in a related field or some equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to travel approximately 20% |
• Well versed in writing in writing batch files, Windows Scripting Host and Windows PowerShell scripts
• Onsite experience as a Professional Services Engineer implementing Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange infrastructures for medium-sized business and greater – preferably migrating from previous version of Exchange. |
