This Web-Based view into Active Directory reduces administrative costs by enabling end-users to view and edit their directory information and manage their own groups. Administrators control what can and cannot be updated; end-users provide the updates thus helping to ensure the accuracy of information within Active Directory. WebDir 4.0 also saves your help desk time and effort by allowing users to manage their account and password information.
Newly added to WebDir 4.0 is dynamic schema detection, customized functionality modes, Sharepoint integration support, double-byte language internationalization and cross-forest support. WebDir's .Net 2.0 Framework now shares the same code-base with Imanami's award-winning dynamic group management application, SmartDL. This allows an organization to utilize Imanami's product suite to manage a truly effective group management solution.
